This album represents an entire year in violin covers, and I hope you enjoy taking this journey with me. It all began with Hallelujah when I performed shirtless in a church! That music video was featured on the television show "Right This Minute:' How Far I'll Go from Moana, was recorded on a rare Italian Gadda that I borrowed while my instrument was getting a tune up. How I loved that violin! Another Day of Sun (also recorded on the Gadda) caught the eye of The Ellen Show! Her producers called me to say Ellen loved it - isn't that wild? But we weren't prepared for the viral success of the next song, Beauty and the Beast. That music video was written about in 20 different languages and more than 60 countries. I followed it up with my favorite song from the new Beauty and the Beast: the stirring Evermore. Next came Sia's Chandelier, the video that made me motion sick from playing my violin upside down in a spinning hoop for 4 hours! I Dreamed a Dream followed, and it remains one of my favorite Broadway songs. In Bad Romance I was transformed into a sexy, shirtless Vladimir Putin - the first and last time I'll try a political parody! Game of Thrones was shot on Mt. Baker in the snow, and it's on the record as our coldest shooting location. Then came Despacito, the undisputed Song of the Summer. Part of Your World from The Little Mermaid, was featured on Cosmopolitan. Come To Me was released with the disclaimer "I dare you not to cry!" Yes, it's a tear-jerker. But Somewhere Over The Rainbow might be the most sentimental song on this list because I recorded it with the two most talented violinists I know: My brother and sister! It also landed me my first live television appearance on Seattle's New Day Northwest. I rounded out the year paying homage to science fiction and fantasy with the Stranger Things theme and my Star Wars medley. What an incredible year it was, and it was all made possible by my amazing Patreon Family. Thank you for your support, encouragement, and love!
